South Pacific Beaches [MUST VISIT] - Marquesas Islands

These jagged volcanic islands like Hiva Oa, 800 miles northeast of Tahiti, are covered in lush green tropical forests and the occasional upmarket bungalow. Gauguin scenes and wild horses only build on the exotic charm.

 The Marquesas Islands also emerged as ”The land of men” are a small group of volcanic islands in French Polynesia, a collectivization of France in the southern Pacific Ocean. The highest point in the region is the peak of Mount Oave, located on Ua Pu island at 1, 230m above sea level.
