Louis Vuitton celebrates its 20th year in China with Voyages exhibit
Louis Vuitton is relentlessly trying to find its footing in the Chinese luxury markets. After rubbing the government the wrong way in Shanghai, the French luxury giant, will be celebrating its 20th year in the country with a special summer exhibit which has been tagged as “Voyages”. It traces back the historical luggage and handbags of the brand, that too at one of the country’s most renowned museums, the National Museum of China. And this works just fine for the museum, as they open doors after a three-year renovation period. With this installation, brand LV plans to cash in on the current travel rage that has gripped the Chinese.
